What people are saying: "I love my new tumbler! I enjoy my espresso in it during the day, and wine in the evening."
This is an original, small handmade porcelain tumbler that was wheel-thrown, and comfortably holds 5 oz (150ml), which is a standard pour of wine. An illustration of a variety of succulent or cactus plants was carved into the surface using a technique that originated in Korea known as mishima in which I incised the drawing into leather-hard clay and then inlayed a green slip (liquid clay) into the illustrated lines. A clear glaze is applied over the entire piece, except for the base.
Size: This handmade tumbler comfortably holds 5 fluid oz, or 150ml, which is a standard pour of wine. It's perfect for wine, whisky, eggnog, or a fresh shot of espresso.
Dimensions: 3.5in (8 cm) tall x 2.5in (5cm) diameter.
** Locally supplied fine porcelain clay and glazes
** Glazes used are food-safe
** Microwavable and dishwasher proof (please load your handmade piece in the dishwasher carefully - hand-washing is recommended to prolong the life of the piece)
** Suitable for both cold or hot contents
Please note: Handmade ceramic wares by their very nature are unique, inconsistent and may have some imperfections that do not detract from the beauty and function of the piece. Instead, these are indications of the maker's hand and I encourage you to embrace them. If multiple quantities of this piece is available, they may be similar but they won't be identical, as each one of them is individually made. Your piece may not be identical to the one shown in these images.
